On Saturday, Jesse and I went to see Haste The Day, All That Remains(matt's old band),  As I Lay Dying, and Through The Eyes Of The Dead.  We were on the press guest list to the sold out show 9which was the first night of the tour), and we got there right before doors opened, so thankfully we didn't have to wait around for the Guest List to be posted.  One thing I hate about the Marquee, they make press wait on line with everyone else.   All the big venues let Press in through their own entrance, so i usually don't have to wait on line.  Blah the line to get in was about 20 or so minutes long.
The show was GREAT.  I especially enjoyed All That Remains & Haste The Day.  Good times..  When I wasn't up taking pictures with my photo pass, I was in the huge circle pit...  It was the first time i'd ever gone in a pit at a hardcore show.  I got hit, kicked, and pulled down a lot. haha...
I got a lot of compliments on my hair..haha..
Oh while Jesse and I were standing out on the outdoor patio, some guy comes up to us, and he asks me out. lol.  The guy was totally wasted, and he was asking me all about myself(to which i didn't give exact answers).. haha.. At one point he mentioned getting carded and I asked to see his ID and he actually let me see his ID.lol.  And then he asked me out to Coffee and Jesse was like "She's not even legal for a few more months", and he was like "Are you serious? I thought she was like 20 atleast". haha.   Then the guy proceeded to tell us later on that he used to be a drug addict and shoot up with needles, which used to give him frequent staph infections.  I was totally O_o .

On sunday i went to go see the movie "Queen Elizabeth: The Golden Age".... It was really good, i highly suggest it... the costumes in it were amazing...
After the movie, my mom and i got take out from P.F. Changs at the water front... my mom had me go in with her credit card to get the take out... and i ended up loosing her credit card(i woke up this morning to her realising so, and yelling at me). haha.

Today/Monday (really yesterday), I was too tired to go to class in the morning, because i stayed up til' 5am watching "SAW II" (i've never seen saw 1, all they had at the vid store was 2...which was not scary).   I didn't do much, though I did go to the book store and picked up a copy of "Heroine Diaries" by Nikki Sixx(which is ironic because i got an e-mail from his PR yesterday asking if i'd like to so a phone or e-mail interview), "I Am America, And So Can You" by Stephen Cobert, and some college guide book my mom insisted i get(even though i'm pretty much dead set on UCLA, and then my fall back school is University Of West Chester so i can go to Acme Market and get in a shopping cart every night and listen to "96 Quite Bitter Beings")....
I went to Hot Topic this evening to get a Marie Antoinnette costume...I'm going to be Rob Dyrdek during the day, and then for Trick Or Treat i'm going to be Marie Antoinnette........ to uber important historical figures, you know(sarcasm..though Rob apparently holds 21 guiness world records... Marie is an important historical figure, which you should all know)... Anyway, i was completely miffed because all Hot Topic had left was the dress and the shows, no wigs, pettycoats or anything left... i bought it though, and tried it on at home, I don't like it that much...so i'm going to take it back and go to Mardigrass(it's a costume shop) asap in the morning and buy their Marie Antoinnette costume(it's more expensive but it's really gorgeous) and excessories.
I read about 50 or so pages of "I Am America, And So Can You" by Stephen Colbert before falling asleep tonight... It's great... It's got Stephen's same hilarious humor from his show.. it's so subtle and off the wall... If you like The Colbert Report you so need to go out and buy it...
I don't know whats wrong with me, i fell asleep at like 10:30 watching this thingier on Vlad The Impaler... I woke up at 1:30 (to more stuff on Vlad)...

everything's been. 32142141 this past week. My mom's friend left saturday, thank god. We're never inviting her back, and that friendship is probably done for.   It's annoying when house guests take over you're intire house, want to spend every moment with you(she seemed angry when we didn't invite her to go w/ us to Sonic, so i could get lunch.. and no it was not that she was hungry because the whole time she was here i maybe saw her eat 3 salads and a bunch of weightloss drinks), expect you to pay for everything, only care about being seen in you're little Audi sports car by their co-workers at the airport, and spend waayy to much time writing the details of every minute on their palm piolet so they can brag to others.  theres more i could go on about but i shall refrain.

On Saturday night my mom and i came home to find this:

Wentz, had yanked the computer cord out with her mouth... electricuting herself.   she came up to me wagging her tail covered in blood....  we rushed her to the animal hospital... we ended up being there until 1am.  Apparently Wentz is ok, other than some cuts in her mouth(caused by the burns from the electricution), which she's now on anti-biotics for.

So.. on Sunday, I went to Shawna's because her cousin was going to do my hair.   We were watching the new CKY "bootleg" dvd, and decided to call up Matt.  After a few minutes of chatting Matt's like "have you seen the message board, theres some major CKY news going on". I was like "what tell me?" and he was like "Deron quit the band, yesterday"..........   total shocker(no sarcasm).  He then told me that, Chad, Jess and himself planned to go on as a 3 piece (they were going to practice stuff on monday in chicago), w/ Chad singing.. and that "Deron Miller may be the voice of CKY, but CKY is not Deron Miller".  0_0
When I got home i went online and read the stuff on their message board and "ask cky".. wow.lots of drama.   Deron wrote a post(which chad ended up removing) that said that people were talking shit about him, he got pissed off and then that Chad & Jess attacked him, and that he didn't want to leave the band.. And then people wrote stuff about how Chad had broke his foot onstage, ect...   So like Tuesday night CKY were supposed to play, but didn't because apparently Chad broke some ribs. 0_0... I called up Matt yesterday to see how things were going, and he told me that Chad tripped over a amp cabnet on Monday and broke his ribs.    Tours over.   He did say that when Chad get's better they're going to be back at it, w/o Deron.
It's sad... CKY w/o Deron is wierd..... They'll still be good, just not the same.   I hope they let Deron back.


Moving on.... In hip-hop class we've been broken up into crews. oh. my. god. it. sucks.   We have to come up with coreography....but not to a particular song, because for hip-hop battles you can't request music with the DJ..   blah, blah, blah.  and to make things worse members of the Rock Steady Crew are going to be judging whos the best... blah this is for a grade.. i think it's like 2 credits.

last night i was watch tv with my mom and her best friend Brenda(who's visiting from NYC), and my mom made tea.. i wasn't paying attention and accidentally dropped my tea in my lap. my whole bikini line is now severly burned... i was in so much pain.. i ran into my bathroom and ripped my clothes off... it didn't help. i could bearly sleep last night, the pain was unbearable... i had to sleep with cold towels & an ice pack on the area that got burned... today when i woke up i had blisters all over where it burned...

due to my burns, i decided to skip hip-hop class today(making it 5 absences this semester... i need to do make up classes)... Diana came over and we went and hung out down on Mill Ave... We went into a lot of shops that had bad clothes.. We walked all the way down to Zia, and i bought the new Turbonegro cd "Retox", and the old 2003 All That Remain's cd that Matt's on(haha i'd always been curious to hear Matt's old band). After Zia we went to a piercing place so I could get my nose ring switched out, but i couldn't get it taken out because if you're under 18 you needed a gardian(i thought that was just to get pierced). We went to the comic book place next door and bought the second "Umbrella Academy" comic. We then walked all the way back down to Mill to Coldstone and got Ice Cream.
haha.. We both could swear we'd never heard so much rap music in our lives... All the cars on Mill Ave seemed to be blairing "Soulja Boy", "Party Like A Rockstar", or 50 Cent... this one car was from Alaska and had two black people in it blairing "Party Like A Rockstar", we both agreed that it had to be a stolen car. BAHAHHAA...

After that my mom and her friend Brenda picked us up and we went to the Wedge so i could show her friend my skating abilities.. haha she was impressed. haha.. then we went home...

After Diana left, i went with Brenda to the mall to go buy some Clandestine stuff... but they didn't have any Clandestine stuff(i'm probably going to have to go to Chandler mall for it).. But i did get a DC hat for my halloween costume and some DC dog tags. After that i came home and was happy to see my Rogue Status shirt had come in the mail.... and then I watched Lords Of Dog Town (i always cry at the end of that movie when Sid dies.. it's so fricken sad).


Oh so i went to put my PJ's on, and I came out into the living room and my mom was watching Rob & Big.... how disturbing is that? 49 year olds should NOT be watching MTV shows.

i fell asleep at like 4am watching "Scarred". That show never used to faze me, but after my CAT Scan last weekend, I found myself shuddering at every fall shown.  It makes me realise how fortunate I am to only have had a minor concusion.

I got up at 9am so that I could go with my mom to the air port to pick up her best friend.  She hadn't seen her best friend since we moved to AZ, 11 years ago.....  After the air port my mom and her friend decided they wanted to go swimming... I declined wanting to go skating but my mom refused to drive me to the park(because of last weekends events)... Blah i'm 4 months from 18 with no drivers liceance(i need to go take the road test) and no car(my dad promised me one, and still needs to make good).

I stayed home, and skated in my garage.  I watched some trick tips dvd's on my laptop.  I got bored reallly quick and decided to buy some stuff for halloween.... i ordered myself a white rogue status gun show t-shirt online, and then i went to the mall to find some fake bling...  i still need to buy myself a red dc hat and some dc pants(which i shall do later this week when my dad sends me money)...i also need one of those rings that covers two fingers(does anyone know where i can buy one of those?) and then i will be totes set on halloween costumes.

I went to my friend Rio's house tonight for dinner. They had cooked beef chili.. So i had some.   I've had beef twice in the last two months... Does that mean my vegetarianism is over? almost 4 years down the toilet?

i have the flu.  i'm pretty sure i cought it on monday.  oh joy.


i really want to go to the Viva La Bands show on Halloween in Phili... but i have the SATS on the 3rd, so my mom is saying no way.  I don't understand why not.. i could easily fly back the next day and be fine and rested for the SATS... arghh.   Plus it would be a  good time to go and look at the University Of West Chester... which brings me to... COLLEGE HUNTING.

I want to move to LA (as you all that read my journal.. i don't know why anyone does, because with few exceptions of craziness, my life is boring... now).. I've been looking into housing and roomates ofr months.. and nothing really has clicked.... and then i found another perfect house, but it was $7,500 a month...  i found nice apartments, but my mom said she hated the area and apt and didn't want me living there... i've had no luck with roomates... It just doesn't seem like it's going to happen..  Plus i had no intention of going to college.. i figured my web site would start generating money or i'd get some awesome job.

So now.... i'm looking into college.  I don't particularly want to, but my mom's really pushing it.  Plus it is a way to get away from this hell hole known as Scottsdale.

I've picked the following schools to apply to:

Pepperdine:  It's in Malibu, one of my favorite places...I go there every summer of vaykay... It's located like a mile or so from Britney Spears' house...  It's a really pretty and safe campus..  and it has tons of wild life, like deer roaming free since the school is like built into the side of a mountain in Malibu.... Downside, It's Christian and you get expelled if you're cought using curse words on campus... I use fuck every other word..

UCLA: look at the last two letter, LA... i could go there and still live the fab life in Hollywood.  Plus it's supposedly a really good school.

FIDM:  It's a Fashion Design school in LA... i kind of chose it as a joke.. i think it's the school that LC on the Hills went to(btw.. that would be thee downside to that school. since i fucking hate the hills and every thing to do with the show).  

University Of West Chester:  I now pretty much nothing about this school, other than it's in West Chester, PA... the town from "Viva La Bam".....  I went to West Chester last summer as a joke on the way back to the beach(it was like a 2 hour detour on the drive back to my grandma's house in north jersey)... West Chester is seriously like the prettiest small town in the country.. After my like 4 hour stay in the town, I decided it was one of the few places in the world i would actually like to live..... plus i have family in that part of PA(well like an hour from there).

NYU:  It's a great school, with a good film program(so i'm guessing a good journalism program).. and it's in NYC...  i'm originally from North Jersey.. my grandma lives like 30 mins outside the city, my cousin Kimmy lives in brooklyn...so i'd have family near by.

Harvard:  Harvard has a great law school.. And i plan on doing a undergrad in journalism, and then posibly going on to law school... Plus i would just love to be like "oh i go to harvard", just so i can sound smart (i DO have a 140 or so IQ, or according to online quizzes 160..so i am smart, though i cannot spell to save my life).  Downside... i've never been to Massachusetts and it's like super cold there...


I doubt i'll get into any of those schools. I don't have much faith in myself.. and having no highschool transcripts basically fucks me over.  I don't want to wind up like a lot of fuck up kids i know, who end up not going to college, or go to community college for some bullshit degree they won't use..

Do i even need a degree, since my current lifes goal is to work in a skate shop and eventually own one?   Can i go crawl in a hole now and cry?

OH MY GOD. I HAD THE BEST DAY EVER!
hahahah... my friend Shawna went with me to the CKY show... We went there at 3pm, because my interview was supposed to be at 3:30....When we got there, i spotted Matt, and he saw me, and he was like "HEY SAMMI!", and i went over to him, and chatted with him.   Jess Margera then came out, and Matt was like "Jess this is your interview, btw, this is the girl that wrote 'The Cig Song'." and then Jess went back onto the bus... He came out a few minutes later and we were all talking about being hungry and wanting to go over the bridge to Tempe to go get food... there were 3 CKY fans there who had a car, and so we all (there was 7 of us.. matt, me, jess, shawna, and 3 others) got in the car and went to Tempe... We went to Hooters on Mill Ave. haha..
It was ssoo hilarious, when we got in there the one waitress was like "Are you all going to the CKY show tonight?"(because the three cky fans, matt & jess had CKY shirts on)... haha Shawna and I burst out laughing.
The 3 kids that drove us, sat at one table, and Jess, Matt, Shawna & I sat at another.  I sat next to Jess. Shortly after we sat down one of the Beef Cake(or maybe it's meat cake.. i can't remember) from Gwar came in and sat at the table across from us. I got a shirley temple and mozerella sticks,  i gave Shawna a few of my sticks... and Matt & Jess shared some "naked wings" and both drank beers.
Halfway into our meal, one of the waitresses came over and asked Matt & Jess if they'd go over and meet this one waitress because she was a huge fan and was freaking out over CKY being there. haha.. it was uber funny.
After we ate we went out on the patio and did the interview for my web site.  It went really good, and is probably my fav one i've done.  Lol while we were out on the patio i had matt call Onndreeuhh from here(because i know she's a huge like cky crew fan)..and then we tried calling Diana(she fucking hates cky.. and last summer when cky where here i had matt call her and leave a message so it's like a joke), and she wouldn't pick up for me and texted me "i'm busy", so Matt called from his phone and left her the most hilarious message.. he was all like "Diana i know you hate CKY, but i would love for you to be a fan of us. I will do anything to get you to be our fan. Tell me what i can do to make you a fan of our band, call me back at <add matt's cell phone number here". haha i was laughing so hard...
After that Matt, Shawna and I went for a short walk down Mill, to Hippy Gypsie so Matt could get some smokes. The girl in there though he was buying them for us(because i loaned matt $5), so she kicked us out. haha. We went next door and they sold him them..  after that we went back to Hooters... Jess & Matt ordered some food to take back for Chad.  We all went outside and waited, and I took some pix with the guys, and then Matt took my camera and was taking tons of random pix of everyone.. And then Matt & I did a short vid for me to post on my buzznet(hahaha.. it was all about how much he hates Pete Wentz). haha.
We then went back to the venue.  We talked to Matt a bit, and then he had to go do something else.. So we hung around by the bus baracade thingier.. Where Shawna and I ran into Vain's Of Jenna.  The one dude(the bassist) from Vain's was totally coming on to us, asking our names and stuff, and he asked us our ages and seemed kind of sad to hear we were underaged. hahaha.
Shawna and I then went to will call and picked up our tickets from the guest list.  We then noticed Chad was outside, and we ran over to him. He had his arms out streached towards us.  When we got over to him he was like "Hi Sammi"...(i was like dying, because i used to have a crush on him... so him knowing my name was totes an omgz moment).  I took a few pix with Chad.. and we talked about "the cig song"(this song diana and i wrote as a joke last summer about chad, and put online, and someone sent it to chad, and he liked it so much he played it on Radio Bam on Sirius once a few months ago), GG Allen, and Chad told me he liked my Ramones skirt that i was wearing.   Chad then announced that he needed to go find some jack daniels, and left..
Shawna and i went for a walk around the venue so i could take a pic of the marquee sign with the "viva la bands tour" stuff up...and bumped into beef cake from gwar, and chatted with him for like half an hour.
after that we went into the venue to watch Vain's Of Jenna play.  Towards the end of their set, the dude we'd talked to earlier noticed us, and was pointing at us and rolling his tounge(eww), and at the end he tossed his guitar pick at me. hahaha.
after that CKY came on.. I had my photo pass so i took pictures. When they came out I waved to Matt and he looked at me and smiled..  During the time i was taking pix, i made eye contact with Deron and Chad several times. haha security messed up and let us take pix for the first 4 songs(it's only supposed to be 3 at the marquee).   
CKY's set was really good but short.  When CKY got done, Matt took their set list, and jumped off stage(like to the security barrier thingie) and shook some kids hands, and then he came over and gave me his set list(i'd asked him earlier in the day when we were at hooters if he'd give me it).
Shawna, my mom(she came for CKY's set.. and she'd brought them a care package of food for their bus. ahah), and i went outside and chatted with Matt.  My mom then left, and then Matt, Shawna and I went back into the venue(the security was mean about letting Shawna re-enter even though Matt said she was with him).  
Shawna and I watched a little of Gwar's set.. We kept going inbetween Gwar and the CKY merch booth..  Chad, Deron and Matt were at the merch booth.  We got pix with Deron (and Chad).. I had bought CKY's new DVD earlier in the night, so i had them sign it.  Chad wrote on it "CIG Loves Sammi" (once again i was like totally omgzzz)..
Towards the end of Gwars set i checked my phone and my mom had called, she was outside and she'd brought Wentz(my dog) with her.. Matt, Shawna and I went outside.. Matt lurrvved Wentz.. he played with her for a while and Chad petted her and stuff (i got tons of pix of this).. And then Ballzac from Gwar came out, and he kissed Wentz (haha my puppy is such an attention whore of a doggy.. she lurved all the guys petting her)...
Chad had Matt go get me one of his "CIG" shirts(he came out like a few months ago with his own line of shirts that have his picture on them)... haha i was excited, because i'd wanted one for a long time.. and i thought it was super sweet that he gave me one.
We left around 10:30-ish.. Matt hugged both Shawna and I and kissed us both on the cheek....
Twas theee raddessttt day ever..
I shall hopefully have my pix from the show up by tomorrow or so...

i interviewed Jake from Norma Jean tonight and took pix of the show.. i had a rad time.   i'm wiped out.. Maryanne and I were hungry before the show, and walked all the way over the bridge to Mill Ave and bought some food at a burger joint, where we saw this tranny(well it looked like a man with double d breast implants), and i lost my fob vip pass from the zoo. 

tomorrow(well it's 1:30am, so today), i'm interviewing CKY. my absolute favorite band.

in other things.. my head is fine, but my left knee is horrible.. it's swollen & full of liquid, something(i think cartilage) is rubbing together, it hurts like heck, and i'm having trouble walking.

first off i am supposidly fine.. though i may have a concussion... here's what  happened...

i went skating today(wow surprise)... it  started out as a good day.. when i got to the park i saw my friend AJ who i haven't seen for a few months.. we chatted a bit, then he went off with some other people he know's to go get pot(ahh why can't everyone just be sXe and stay off drugs), he was supposed to come back to the park, but he never did(eek i hope he's ok).  I skated for about two hours, and then I convinced my friend Mason to go with me to Peter Piper Pizza and get some lunch(haha i paid of corse).  After lunch i came back to the park and skated... I was really enjoying everything.. i had a rad mix in on my ipod of good pop punk music.. and it just felt like one of those happy days where you just feel happy about everything and skating feels so good.

So i go down the easiest ramp in the park, it's at the very top of the north west corner of the park, you go down the ramp and then theres this ramp in the center that you go up and then down(it's more of a humpt han a ramp) and theres another ramp you go up on the other side.. along this thing, since it's at the edge of the skate park, theres a curb thats about 6 inches or so high..... i always go down the ramp and the over the hump, and then take off towards the bowl, just to get a lot of speed to make it around the bowl.... 
So anyway... i take off down the ramp, and right before the hump i either hit a rock or lost ballance or something(i'm not really sure), and i fell backwards off my board, hitting my head extremely hard against the curb..  i'm not sure or not wether i blacked out.. my eyes closed and i felt as if something flew off my head(it was really wierd),  the jolt of the fall went thru my whole head...and then i opened them.. i felt really disoriented and started screaming "somebody get my cell phone" (no one did).. i was in fucking intense pain.  i really thought i'd done major damage.. the back of my head where i hit it felt like it was burning(it felt that way for atleast an hour after it happened).. i got up and called my mom.. she drove down to the park, and then she took me to the hospital.
at the hospital they got me into a room pretty fast(only after about 10 or 15 minutes.. which is amazing because when i broke my ankle it took like 2 or 3 hours to get me into a room.. and i was there for 7 hours)... after about an hour of being at the hospital(i'm such a loser to keep my self entertained i watched "rob & big" on my ipod), the doctor came in, and she pretty much bitched me out for not wearing a helmet(haha my mom was pretty pissed as well, because i just made her buy me $150 worth of pads and helmets on monday.. and i wasn't wearing any of it), she suggested i get a CAT Scan...
I got the scan, which was really wierd.. i lay down on this thing and it slides back and forth why this thingie goes around and around for like 3 minutes... a short while later another doctor(who was named Doctor McCrack, i wonder if he's related to Bert) and said that the scan showed that i don't have any bleeding or swelling, though i may have a concusion, but i should be fine. and then they gave my mom a list of stuff to look out for...

my mom is NOT too happy with me right now, being that that trip is going to cost a few grand... and my head still hurts.

Wow.

This week has been mad crazy.
well not really.. but it's been all about skating.
I have gone to the park every day since Saturday.
Skating for as long as 5 hours.
I've made so much progress this week; it's crazy.
I'm over my fear of dropping in.
I'm over my fear of getting up to the coping.
I can land a backwards imposible on the coping.
I can land smith grinds on the coping.

I took Wentz to the skate park on Saturday & Sunday.  I tried to teach her how to skate.  She got on the board a few times.  Haha it is not easy trying to teach a bulldog to skate. 
It was funny everyone called her Meaty as a joke.. Though a few people were dumb enough to ask if she was infact Meaty. lmfao.. 

Today I went to the park to get some skating in before going to hip-hop class.... i came down wrong on a backwards impossible and landed hard on my knee.. i could bearly get up.  my mom came to pick me up shortly after.  i spent my whole hiphop class sitting on the floor with ice on my knee.. it's all swollen now.
so right now i'm laying on the couch with my leg elevated, with ice on my knee, and watching a Tony Hawk DVD.

right niow i'm waiting for Jake to call and let me know if he's going to go with me to Turbonegro tonight. I reeaaalllyyy want to see them live.

Sunday i'm interviewing Norma Jean and i've got a photo pass for the Norma Jean/Saosin show... and Monday i'm interviewing CKY at Viva La Bands and i've got a photo pass.
